Every woman at Unshattered has a story. Just like these bags are handcrafted from upcycled materials and given new life, each woman is given a new chance to escape the cycle of addiction. When you carry this bag, you carry possibilities for every woman on our team and all the women still struggling who will one day find hope and also become Unshattered.
Tiffany
Born addicted to heroin, Tiffany experienced significant trauma and loss. Spending most of her adult life in prison, she had no vision for a future. But she's the biggest smile you'll see in our boutique and rightfully proud of her incredible talent as an artisan!
Kaylene
Abuse and dysfunction early in life lead Kaylene to tread the waters of anxiety, rejection, and, eventually, an addiction to alcohol! But, with the love and support of family and community, she's learning that you are never too old to learn a new thing or to make a difference in a life!
Jillian
Feelings of intense anger after the loss of her unborn child compounded by harassment, Jillian turned to alcohol to cope. But then, she chose to enter a long term recovery program and begin the journey of healing and forgiveness. Now she is a joy-filled person who is restoring her relationship with her son!
Lois
Nearly an entire lifetime of trauma led Lois into despair. Drinking alcohol was easier than trying to believe she had any value. Today, she's a dynamite designer and genius kit maker!
